Yukio Tanaka leads a mundane life until a chance encounter with a talented guitarist named Ryusuke Minami introduces him to the world of rock music. Together, they form an ambitious band called Beck and navigate the challenges of the industry.

Fourteen-year-old Yukio, nicknamed Koyuki, struggles with social anxiety and a lack of direction until he saves a strange, patched dog. Its owner, Ryusuke, recognizes the boy's hidden potential, eventually leading Koyuki to pick up a guitar and discover a powerful talent for singing.
