Satsuki Kakeru lives a hollow life until the "Red Night" plunges his world into chaos, making everyone vanish except him and childhood friend Minase Yuka. Monsters fill the streets, forcing them to flee and hide.

The bizarre phenomenon recurs, leading them to other powered humans: Misuzu, a swordswoman; Kukuri, a mute girl like Kakeru's sister; Yukiko, with a killer alter ego; and Takahisa, a pyrokineticist. This manga follows the Kusakabe Misuzu route as they form an alliance to survive and confront six ominous shadows.
